BAUMAN, Rufus Peacefully, went home to be with the Lord, on Monday, July 16, 2012 at Leisureworld Care Centre, Elmira, in his 91st year. Rufus Bauman, formerly of Hawkesville, was the beloved husband of the late Magdalena (Gingrich) Bauman (2004). Dear father of Gordon Bauman of Floradale, Verna and Clarence Frey of Listowel, Clare and Grace Bauman of Floradale, Lorna and Laverne Martin of Hawkesville, Viola and Nelson Weber of RR 1, Atwood, and Ron Bauman of Hawkesville. Lovingly remembered by his 18 grandchildren and 38 great-grandchildren. Brother of Elizabeth and Melvin Cook of New Hamburg, William and Elsie Bauman of RR 2, Drayton. Predeceased by his parents Angus and Leah Bauman, his daughter-in-law Diana Bauman (2011), three brothers Ephraim, Andrew, Philip and his sister Rebecca. The family will receive their relatives and friends at the Dreisinger Funeral Home , Elmira on Wednesday (today) from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. Funeral service to celebrate Rufus' life will be held at Wallenstein Bible Chapel, Wallenstein, on Thursday, July 19, 2012 at 2:30 p.m. followed by interment in Hawkesville Cemetery.
