James Fleming (1815-1838) was a son of Isaac and Margaret Fleming. He died at age 22 years, and was buried in the Old Wheelersburg Cemetery, Scioto Co., OH. In 2009, I visited and photographed his gravestone which stood next to that of his father, Isaac Fleming. In 2010, when I again visited this cemetery, I found his stone had been broken and was laying down. In 2012, when I again visited his gravesite, sadly his stone was no longer there. James Fleming was my 5th great-uncle. I am descended from his sister, Elizabeth (Fleming) Turner (1796-1870).
