Dr. Simon Cohen: Newspaper Obituary and Death Notice
Tribune, The (San Luis Obispo, CA) - October 7, 2003
Deceased Name: Dr. Simon Cohen
Dr. Simon Cohen, 79, of Paso Robles passed away Wednesday, Sept. 24, 2003, at his home.
Oct. 22 would have marked Simon's 80th birthday. His loss is deeply felt by his wife, Regan; his three children, Barbara, Jeff and Donna; and four grandchildren.
Simon, a 31-year survivor of prostate cancer, was known for his work on the Central Coast as a Naturopath. His son suffered a coma in 1972 the result of a motorcycle accident. Simon was awakened through prayer to a gift for healing as a result of this tragedy, which he recognized openly as originating from a divine source. Years of education and experience, during which time he helped many to regain and maintain health through his special gift, knowledge and education, led him to understand that natural and traditional medicine must come together to provide the best possible care while instilling in the patient that, all healing is self-healing.
Simon was a gifted, creative and truly unique individual. He was a decorated World War II veteran, entrepreneur and visionary with high values and expectations of himself and those who entered his circle. He left this world with an open heart and mind in the company of his family and adopted animal companions.
