Deceased Name: Wendell Seymour Lambert 1914-2012

Wendell S. Lambert, age 98, passed away in Alpine, Utah on July 14, 2012. He was born March 9, 1914 in Salt lake City, Utah to John Carlos and Laura Seymour Lambert. Wendell married Alpha J. Robison on July 25, 1936 in Baker, Nevada. They were later sealed in the Salt Lake Temple.

Wendell moved his family from Ely, Nevada to American Fork, Utah in 1960, where he owned and operated Tri-City Ford until he retired. He was also an active member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints and served as a Bishop, Stake President, Patriarch and Sealer in the Provo and Mount Timpanogos Temples.

Wendell is survived by his brother Owen (Virginia) Lambert, children: Richard (Eileen), John (Lynn); 18 grandchildren and 30 great grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his wife Alpha, daughter Joan Kirk and son-in-law Glenn Kirk, son Gary W. Lambert and grandson Jeffrey Kirk.

Friends may call Wednesday, July 18, 2012 from 6-8 p.m. at Anderson & Sons Mortuary, 49 East 100 North, American Fork. A Family memorial service will be held Thursday morning. Burial in Holiday Memorial Park. Online memories and condolences may be shared at andersonmortuary.com.
