Harold "Frog" Hundley Arnn
Harold "Frog" Hundley Arnn, age 88, passed away suddenly on July 15, 2012 at his residence at 5565 Dry Fork Road, Dry Fork, VA. Born October 10, 1923 in Pittsylvania County, he was the son of the late Jessie Wright and the late John Hundley Arnn. He is survived by this beloved wife of 70 years, Elsie Yeatts Arnn of the residence. Mr. Arnn was employed by Sunbeam Bakery as a salesman for many years, but his greatest joy was repairing lawnmowers for friends and neighbors. He was a member of Emmanuel Pentecostal Holiness Church, Dry Fork, VA and he served in the U. S. Navy in the Pacific Theatre for two years. In addition to his wife, Mr. Arnn is survived by one daughter, Anita Wells and husband, Jimmy of Dry Fork; one son, Harold Wayne Arnn and wife, Vonnie of Danville; three sisters: Estelle Yeatts of Dry Fork, Ann Hardy of Danville and Betty Ward of Beckley, WV; one brother, Gene Arnn of MS; four grandchildren: H. W. Arnn, II, Howard Arnn, Chris Wells and wife, Kelly and Jeffrey Wells and wife, Kim. He is also survived by two great-grandchildren, Bailey and Caleb Wells. In addition to his parents, Mr. Arnn is predeceased by two sisters, Juanita and Dorothy Arnn, and three brothers, Wright, Paul and Pete Arnn. Funeral services will be conducted on Tuesday, July 17, 2012 at 11:00 a.m. at Emmanuel Pentecostal Holiness Church, Dry Fork, VA with the Rev. Joe M. Beck and the Rev. Dail Yeatts officiating. Interment will follow in the Emmanuel Pentecostal Holiness Church cemetery. The family will receive friends at the church following the committal service. At other times the family will receive friends at the residence of his daughter, Anita Wells at 276 W. I. Powell Rd, Dry Fork, VA.
