Sallie Ann Arnn Hardy died Wednesday, April 16, 2014. She was predeceased by her beloved husband of 67 years, the Rev. Robert Fletcher Hardy III; her mother and father, Hundley and Jessie Arnn; her brothers, Paul, Wright, Harold "Frog", and Pete Arnn; two sisters, Francis and Juanita and two grandchildren. She is survived by her brother, Gene Arnn; her sisters, Betty Ward, and Estelle Yeatts; her seven children, Robert F. Hardy IV, Herbert Hardy, Mary Betterton, Sallye Hardy, Franklin Hardy, Margaret Snider and Mark Hardy; 14 grandchildren; and 18 great grandchildren. Mrs. Hardy was born in the Callands, graduated from Brosville High School and National Business College. She lived her life as a passionate pastor's wife and mother. She was a member of Harmony United Methodist Church. A celebration of Mrs. Hardy's life will be held Saturday, April 19, 2014, at Brosville United Methodist Church. Interment will be at Danville Memorial Gardens. Swicegood-Barker Funeral Services are serving the Hardy family.
