He was born in Eau Claire on April 27, 1913, the son of August and Laura Bleske of the town of Union.
Paul was preceded in death by his wife, Viola; his parents; brothers, John, Albert and Bernard; and sisters Carolyn and Madonna.
Paul is survived by a son, Patrick (wife Connie) of Watertown; two grandsons, Paul (Stephanie) and Kevin (Amy) both of Las, Vegas, Nev. A sister, Delores Sorenson, of the town of Union also survives Paul. Step grandsons, Michael (Kristi), Jeff and Cory (Cheryl); two step great-grandchildren, Makenzie and Alex; as well as several nieces and nephews also survive him.
Paul is a charter member of St. James the Greater parish in Eau Claire.
Paul worked for Uniroyal in Eau Claire for 45 years. While enjoying good health, he was an avid hunter, fisherman, and gardener. Paul was at peace with Jesus.
Mass of Christian burial will be at 11 a.m. on Saturday, August 28, 2004, at St. James the Greater Catholic Church, with Rev. John Schultz officiating. Entombment will be in the Chapel of Resurrection, Calvary Cemetery Mausoleum, in Eau Claire.
Relatives and friends may call one hour prior to the service Saturday at the church.
