Rudolph Stubel was born in Berestowiec, Volhynia of the Russian Empire on 28 Jul 1887. He came to Canada with his family in 1904 and was later married to Emelia Schmidt. They had four children together, Josephine, Olga, Rudy and Lorraine. Rudolph died of pneumonia on 28 Dec 1928. He is buried in the Woodley Cemetery.
