Vallene (LRa) Dunkley Bell, 84, passed away July 17, 2006 in Quincy, WA. She is survived by her husband of 64 years, Phil Keller Bell of Quincy, WA; her 8 children, Patrica Clark of West Jordan, UT, Sharon Oram of Redmond, WA, Phil Bell of Washougal, WA, Daurell Bell of Sammamish, WA, Barbara Simon of Maple Valley, WA, Paul Bell of Quincy, WA, Winston David (Winston) Bell of Lakeland, WA and Morris Bell of Salt Lake City, UT; in addition to 26 grandchildren; and 16 great-grandchildren. She is also survived by her sister Venna Harrison of Redmond, WA; her brother, K. Dunkley of Hooper, UT and Dayle Dunkley of Laverne, CA.

Vallene was born in Whitney, Idaho on April 14, 1922. She graduated from Preston High School in ID and attended Ricks College in Rexburg, ID. She married Phil K. Bell in the Logan, Utah LDS Temple on January 14, 1942. Vallene is best known as a loving mother, a devoted member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, and for her work as a pianist and organist throughout the Quincy Valley. Vallene and Phil farmed in Idaho before moving to their farm in Quincy in 1958.

Funeral Services will be held on Thursday, July 20, 2006 at 11:00 a.m. at the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints in Quincy. The family will receive friends before the service in the Relief Society Room from 10:00 until 10:45 a.m. Conducting will be Bishop Lynn Child.

Concluding Services and Interment will follow in The Quincy Valley Cemetery.
