Funeral services for Emmie Watson, 91, of 4742 N. 25th Road, Pound, were held at 11 a.m. on Wednesday, June 2, at the First Baptist Church in Pound. Rev. Larry Saunders and the Rev. Andrew Rodriguez officiated with interment in the First Baptist Cemetery, Pound.

She died Friday, May 28, at the Landmark in Peshtigo.

Born in the Town of Brazeau on Oct. 7, 1912, she was the daughter of the late Mr. and Mrs. Michael (Augusta Kobus) Kovnesky. She attended a Milwaukee Technical School and was married to Howard Watson on May 2, 1942. The couple resided in Milwaukee where she worked for Briggs and Straton, Marshall and Isley Bank, Gimbels Department Store, and several bakeries. The couple moved to the Town of Beaver in the late 1970's, and spent several winters in Florida. She was a member of the First Baptish Church, Pound.

Survivors include two sisters, Alice Badora of Coleman, and Mrs. August (Edna) Borkowski of Pound; one brother, Albert (Florence) Kovnesky of Lake Mills; many nieces and nephews.

Besides her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Howard, in 1989; five brothers, John, Fred, Gotlieb, Eddie and Emil Kovnesky; and one sister, Molly Lentz.

Rhodes-Charapata Funeral Home of Coleman assisted the family with arrangements.
