John H. Rippen, retired manager of the Farmers elevator, died Saturday in a Lincoln hospital at the age of 87. He was a member of the Hallam Congregational Church.
Son of Gerhard Gerd and Margaret (Meyer) Rippen.
Survivors are his wife, Eunice; son, Glenn of Sepulveda, California; sister, Mrs. Lena Burke of Lincoln.
Services were held Tuesday at 1:30 at the Hallam Congregational Church with interment at Hallam. Rev. H.M. Gilbert officiated.
