Funeral Home in Winnfield for James L. Stroud, 74, of Winnfield, who died Wednesday
morning in the Veterans Adminstration Hospital in Alexandria.
Officiating will be the Rev. Kenneth Tarver, assisted by the Rev. Kelly Tingle.
Burial will be in the Mars Hill Cemetery near Winnfield.
Mr. Stroud was a retired oil field worker.
Survivors include his widow, Mrs. Johnnie Stroud of Winnfield; two brothers, Joe
Stroud of Shreveport and Eugene Stroud of Pineville; three sisters, Mrs. Ethel
Jarnagin and Mrs. Betty Gilcrease, both of Winnfield, and Mrs. Bessie Spillers of
Shreveport; two step-children; and three step-great-grandchildren.
