He was born May 1, 1887 in Cartridge, Tenn., and had resided in Taft the past eight years. He had been a farmer until his retirement in 1948. Surviving are three sons, five daughters, 25 grandchildren, and 22 great grandchildren, one sister, and one brother. Funeral services will be conducted Thursday, April 26, at 2:00 p.m. in the Chapel of Erickson and Brown Funeral Home with the rev. Don A. Nelson of the Kernville Methodist Church officiating.
