Services for Jeanette McDonald Chism, 80, of Frankfort, will be 10 a.m. Friday at Harrod Brothers Funeral Home. She died Tuesday at Frankfort Regional Medical Center following a brief illness. Burial will be in Sunset Memorial Gardens.
A native of Franklin County, she and her husband were self-employed in the grocery business. She was a member of Memorial Baptist Church.
Survivors include daughter, Bonnie Reeves, Frankfort; stepson, Wayne A. Chism, Frankfort; stepdaughter, Vickie Ann Faulkner, Kansas; three step-grandchildren and a special friend, Alma Anderson.
She was the daughter of the late Jim McDonald and Nettie Dean and widow of Arvin D. Chism. She was preceded in death by three brothers, Charles McDonald, Sonny McDonald and John McDonald; and four sisters, Louise Lewis, Margaret Cook, Virginia Hall and Beulah Willis.
The Revs. Chuck Beighle and Dawn Montgomery will officiate.
Bearers will be Dave Fallis, Lewis Thomas Adams, Boyd Chism, Frank Chism, Marvin Chism, Jr. and Kris Banks.
Honorary bearers will be the Memorial Baptist Church deacons.
Friends may call from 4 to 8 p.m. Thursday at the funeral home.
