RITA JOY RIGSBY MANN, was born April 14, 1942 and passed away on July 11, 2012. A loving, faithful wife, mother, grandmother, great grandmother. She was A joy to all who came into contact with her. She was faithful to God her entire Life and touched lives all across the nation.
Rita passed away peacefully, surrounded by family and friends after a sixty one year battle with Juvenile Diabetes. Her Life's passion was God, Family, and the elderly and young children. She was always known for her soft hands and soft heart. She will be greatly missed by her loving husband of fifty four wonderful years, daughters; Trish Rowlands and Billie Jean Young, son-n-law Steve Rowlands and all of her grandchildren, great-grandchildren.
Preceded in death by her parents William H. Rigsby and Irene Rigsby. Survived by husband William "Bill" Mann, daughters; Trish Rowlands and Billie Jean Young; eight grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren and a multitude of family and friends. A Visitation will begin on Friday, July 13, 2012 from 5-8:00pm at Crowder Funeral Home, 851 Hwy 517 W, Dickinson, Texas 77539.
A Celebration of Her Life will follow on Saturday at 11:00am at Texas Avenue Baptist Church, 320 Texas Avenue, League City, Texas. A Reception will immediately follow the service.
