Mrs. Lola Cook, 75, wife of Henry Cook and a life-long resident of the Fillmore and Bingham communities, died at 11:50 p.m. Friday at her home in Fillmore.
The remains were removed to the Allen funeral home to await funeral services, which were held at 1:30 o'clock this afternoon in the Fillmore Methodist church. Burial was made in Glendale cemetery.
Mrs. Cook was the former Lola Halford, a daughter of the late Vincent and Lucinda (Hicks) Halford and was born near Bingham on Aug. 26, 1884. She and her husband farmed for many years and had lived in Fillmore since they retired from farming.
She is survived by her husband, a son, Carl, of Columbia; two daughters, Pauline wife of Clarence Hopwood of Fillmore and Mrs. Verna Morell of Bingham, and a brother, James Halford, of Bingham.
