He resided at Taft Trailer Park and had been a resident of the West Side for the past 54 years. He was employed as a driller for various oil Companies for 40 years, and was a Veteran of World War I. He is survived by two brothers, Jason and John; and three sisters, Mary Davenport. June Forrester, and Bessie Wakefield.
