Peter De Reus died at his home in Pella at 7:00 a. m. Wednesday, July 23, 1924, aged 84 years, 9 months and 22 days. His death was caused by gangrene in one of his feet, which followed a stroke of paralysis. He is survived by five sons and two daughters. One son, A. P. De Reus, died early in this month. Funeral services are at the home at one o'clock this afternoon, Thursday. Interment at Oakwood Cemetery.
