Kathy graduated from St. Paul High School in 1969 and attended The university of Nebraska at Kearney. Kathy married Larry Ward on May 4, 1974, and they made their home in Waterloo, Ontario, Canada. In 1990, Kathy completed her Juris Doctorate in Law at John Marshall Law School in Chicago, IL.. She served as an Assistant Public Defender in the Cook County, Illinois, judicial system from 1990 until her death.
Kathy was preceded in death by: father and brother, Rev. J. Keith Davis, Jr.
Kathy is survived by: husband; son, J. Kristopher Ward; mother, Dorothy Davis of St. Paul; brother and sister-in-law, Don and Rosemary Davis of Broken Bow; brother-in-law, Kenneth Ward and wife, Diane, of Winnipeg, Canada; two nephews and two nieces.
Burial was in the Forest Lawn Rural Cemetery, Morrill, NE.
