The Oklahoman, Oklahoma City, January 1, 1946, pg 7:
Services for Jack R. Farmer, 95, retired farmer and stockman, will be conducted in the Perrine Funeral Home at 10:30 am Thursday at 10:30 am Thursday with burial in Sunny Lane Cemetery. Farmer, who lived at 807 NW 6, died late Sunday at his home. He had been a resident of the state since 1875.

John R. Farmer, 807 NW 6. Survived by two sons, W. F. of Tupelo, OK, and B. W. of Wayne, OK; four daughters, Mrs Lillian Mills of Chaise, KS, Lessie Grant, Bessie Keith, Jessie Baker, all of the city. Services 10:30 am Thursday, in the chapel of the Perrines, Interment Sunny Lane.
