MABEL B. HENRY, 92, OF ROYERSFORD Mabel B. Henry, 92, of Royersford formerly of Bechtelsville, died on July 7, 2012 at Parkhouse in Royersford. Born in Oaks, on December 21, 1919. She was the last surviving daughter of the late Emmanuel W. and Olive J. (Famous) Bortman. She is the wife of Francis S. Henry of Royersford. Mabel was a homemaker and was employed for a time in the kitchen of B.F. Goodrich in Oaks. She very much enjoyed crocheting, knitting and watching the Phillies. Mabel was a member of St. Columbkill Roman Catholic Church in Boyertown. She is survived by her daughters: Jane Frain, of Spring City; Shirley, wife of Richard Rentschler, of Spring City; and Sandra Browder of Westerville, OH. Sons: William, husband of Connie Pierce, of Lake Placid, FL; and Ronald, husband of Patricia Pierce of Fullerton, CA. Step Children: Barbara, wife of Paul Yost, of Barto; Rosanna, wife of Tobe Robbins, of Spokane, WA; Francis C., husband of Joanne Henry, of Boyertown; and Leo, husband of Karen Henry, of Pottstown. She is also survived by eight grandchildren and two step grandchildren, 18 great grandchildren and two step great grandchildren and two great-great grandchildren. Mabel was predeceased by her daughter Ellen Atkinson, her granddaughter Cindy Atkinson and her siblings Charles Bortman, Florence Rhoadarmer, Edith Custer and Nedah Ullman. Friends may call Saturday, July 14, 2012 from 10 to 11 A. M. at the Linwood W. Ott Funeral Home, Boyertown. Prayer Service will begin at 11 A.M. in the Funeral Home. Interment will be in the Most Blessed Sacrament Church Cemetery in Bally. A Memorial Mass will be held at a later date. In Lieu of flowers Masses for Mabel are suggested.
