Robert "Allie" Caddock was born June 22, 1885 near Huron, South Dakota, and died January, 19, 1978. He spent his boyhood in Chicago along with his brothers, Earl and Raymond, and one sister, Daisy. He moved to the Lyman area and lived with the Ike Brown, Sr. family and near Berea south of Anita. Allie was a farmer, a grain miller, a care salesman in the Massena area, and also was with the Caddock United Petroleum in Omaha.
Robert married Myrtle Sullivan December 9, 1909. Myrtle was born March 1, 1882 in Massena Township, Cass County, daughter of Josiah and Adelia Sullivan, and died at her Berea home on October 29, 1930.
They had one child, Clalla Claire Caddock, born near Anita, Iowa November 30, 1911. She died in a flash flood of the Nodaway Creek near Berea on August 4, 1923.
Robert later wed Alice Anderson Altrock who was born July 25, 1900, daughter of John and Mary Anderson. She died March 4, 1973. Alice had a daughter, Geraldine, born November 11, 1925 in Rock Springs, Wyoming.
Geraldine Caddock married Manly Brown, son of Zort and Cora Brown. Four children were born to this union: Mary Elizabeth, July 12, 1948; Rebecca Jane, July 20, 1950; Robert Allan, January 14, 1957; and David Dyer, January 3, 1960.
