The funeral for Mr. Lowry Albert, formerly of this city, who died Thursday in New York, took place from the chapel of Greenmount Cemetery at 3:15 P.M. yesterday, Rev. Arthur C. Powell officiating. The body arrived at Union Station at 3 o'clock, was taken to the chapel and buried in the family plot.
Mr. Albert was born in Catonsville 71 years ago, his father, the late William J. Albert, being prominent in public affairs in this State during the Civil War and a friend of Presidents Lincoln and Grant. Mr. Frank Albert, of this city, is a cousin of the dead man, who is survived by his brother, Mr. Talbot J. Albert, 809 North Charles Street. (published: Baltimore Sun Nov 20, 1910).
