MISSOULA – On July 3, 2012, Miranda House left this earth for her next big adventure. Miranda was born on March 8, 1981, to parents Dave House and Melodie House of Darby. Miranda was raised in Darby, graduating from Darby High School. She attended Montana State University before moving to Missoula in 2001 with her sister and best friend, Erica. She went to work at Western Montana Mental Health Center and continued there, working her way up through the ranks to the position she currently held as contract manager.

Miranda loved to bake for, and with, her friends and family, watching movies with close friends, listening to every type of music under the sun, and had a love of shoes and fashion. One of her greatest joys in life was spending time just being with family and friends.

Miranda is survived by her father, Dave House of Darby, her mother, Melodie House of Missoula, her sister and best friend, Erica House, of Missoula, her grandmother Barbara Ingraham of Darby, and numerous aunts, uncles and cousins as well as countless friends, especially Chad and Katie.

The family would like to extend a heartfelt thank-you to the special man who took such good care of our precious Miranda at the scene of the accident.

We love you and will miss you, precious daughter, sister and friend.

A graveside service for Miranda will be held at 10 am on Tuesday, July 10, at the Lone Pine Cemetery in Darby. A celebration of her life will be held from 2 to 5 p.m. in the Fellowship Hall at the Garden City Church, 1100 S. Higgins Ave., Missoula. Garden City Funeral Home is assisting with arrangements.
