Bellingham Herald (WA) - September 26, 2000:

A memorial service for Margaret (Hane) Albrecht of Bellingham will be held in Madison, Wis., with burial at Crystal Cathedral Memorial Garden in Garden Grove, Calif.

Mrs. Albrecht died Sunday, Sept. 24, 2000, in Bellingham. She was 66.

Born Jan. 21, 1934, to Margaret (Bates) and Franklin Harper Elmore Hane in Hollywood, Calif., she was a longtime resident of Madison and Issaquah before moving to Bellingham in 1999.

Mrs. Albrecht attended Mills College in California, the University of Wisconsin at Madison and Northwestern University in Chicago. She earned her bachelor's degree in social work from Washburn College in Topeka, Kan.

Mrs. Albrecht was a member of Delta Delta Delta and Daughters of the American Revolution.

Survivors include sons Richard Albrecht of Redmond, Randal Albrecht of Madison, Russell Albrecht of Jackson, Wyo., and Robert Albrecht of Minneapolis daughters Connie Albrecht of Bellingham and Cindy Nicholson of Madison sisters Barbara DesForges of California and Grace Miller of Michigan nine grandchildren two great-grandchildren two nephews and one niece.
