ANNA ASBURY
A graveside service was held Sunday afternoon, Feb 17, under direction of Bentley-Delaney Funeral Home, at Mt. Olivet Cemetery for Bertha Anna Asbury, who died Feb 14, 1991 in Boone Hospital Center in Columbia, with the Rev. Charles Odum officiating.
The daughter of Frank Dometrorch, Sr., and Mary (Stefanac) Dometrorch, she was born Aug 19, 1813 in Marceline. She was married to Richard Asbury on Nov. 23, 1936. He died May 25, 1967.
Surviving are a son, Ray, of Marceline; a grandson, Donnie, Kansas City; three stepchildren, Frances Standley, Lake Nehai Tonkayea, George, Woodbury, Tenn., Marjorie Anderson, Stratford, Okla., 10 step grandchildren, 20 great step grandchildren, four great-great-step grandchildren; three brothers, john and Joe, Fayette, and William, Rocheport, three sisters, Mary Mataya, Vallejo, Calif., Josephine Wehmeyer, Rocheport, Lena Eads, Salisbury, and many nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by two sisters at an early age and two brothers, Frank and George Dometrorch, in 1989.
