Mrs. Dora Lee Samuel, 74, of 515 E. Monroe St., South Bend, Ind., passed away following an illness at 10:10 a.m. on Thursday, Feb. 20, at St. Joseph's Medical Center. She was born on July 1, 1922, in Forest City, Ark., to the union of Bertha Ann (Brooks) and Eugene Fleming, both of whom preceded her in death. She was a member of Saints Memorial Church of God in Christ, where she served on the Mother's Board, Prayer and Bible Band, Nurses Unit, Pastor's Aid and Hospitality.

She leaves to cherish her loving memory two sisters, Jeanette Madison of Long Beach, Calif., and Freddie Mae William of South Bend; two brothers, R.L. Fleming of South Bend and Acie Lucas of Forest City, Ark.; along with several nieces and nephews.

Funeral services will be held at noon on Thursday, Feb. 27, at Saint's Memorial Church of God in Christ, with burial following at Chapel Hill Memorial Gardens. Visitation is one hour prior to the time of services. Alford's Mortuary is in charge of funeral arrangements.
