Anna Lee was the fourth child and third daughter of William Clinton Ellers and his wife Lena Dale Poe. She was born at her parents' home at 259 Grand Street.
She married Louis Richard Brutto and they had three children, Richard Ellers, David Allan and Leanna Dale Brutto.

She was one of the Jehovah's Witnesses; a graduate of Grafton High School; and Anna Lee was a retired beautician, after working at the Marinello Beauty Shop for over 50 years.
Anna Lee is survived by one daughter, Leanna Moore of Westminster, MD; six grandchildren, Tara Moore, John Moore, Lisa Simons, Anthony Mauller, Angie Brutto Latta, and Teri Zaffiris; eleven great grandchildren; and one great-great grandchild.
She is also survived by two sisters, Thelma Stidham, Baltimore, MD, and Dorothy Snyder of Grafton; one daughter-in-law, Donna Brutto, of Wagram, NC; and several neices and nephews.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Richard Louis Brutto; two sons, Richard Ellers Brutto and David Allen Brutto; four sisters, Virginia Hanleiter, Lynette Kimble, Mary Hanleiter and Ramona Harkins; and two brothers, Jack Ellers and Bill Ellers.
