OBITUARY

Dorothy Elizabeth (Ellers) Snyder, age 93, of Bishop Ave., Grafton, passed away, Wednesday, April 23, 2014, at her residence. She was born in Grafton, November 5, 1920, a daughter of the late William C. Ellers and Lena Dale (Poe) Ellers. Her husband of 46 years, Arthur M. Snyder, preceded her in death on September 9, 2006.

Dorothy was a homemaker, mother, and grandmother, but also was beautician by trade, worked at the former Hazel Atlas Glass in Grafton, and the Manos Theater. She was a member of the Kingdom Hall of Jehovah's Witnesses.

Surviving are: three daughters, Linda Biller, of Buckhannon, WV, Melanie Snyder, of Pittsburgh, PA, and Raymonda Holt, of New York, NY; five grandchildren, Tawna Gonzalez and husband Bill, Gregory Holt and wife Cynthia, Brandy Requeno, Christina Nix and late husband Clyde, and Brian Cline; nine great grandchildren, Leah Guzman and husband Sergio, David Gonzalez and wife Roseina, Cody Austin and wife Megan, Seth Cline and wife Senieka, Jaden Nix, Kiele Nix, Zach Cline, Treann Cline, and Jake Cline; and one great great granddaughter, Shaelynn Cline; one sister, Thelma E. Hayes-Stidham, of Gwynn Oak, MD; many nieces and nephews, and a good friend, Carla Winters.

In addition to her husband she was preceded in death by: five sisters, Virginia Hanleiter, Lynette Kimble, Mary Hanleiter, Ramona Harkins; and Anna Lee Brutto; and two brothers, Jack Ellers, and Bill Ellers.

At her request, her remains will be cremated. Inurnment will be at the Bluemont Cemetery at a later date.
