Mary Omia Nalley Kelty, 79, of 237 Booker Rd., Springfield, died at 7:52 p.m. Sunday, Sept. 22, 2013 at her residence. Born July 31, 1934 in Marion County, she was preceded in death by her parents, Henry Ivo and Mary Genevieve Downs Nalley; two brothers, Gary and Leon Nalley; four sisters, Bonnie Wade, Margaret Ann Chesser, Betty Mattingly, and Angela Couch; a son, Gregory Allen Kelty and a granddaughter, Erica Renee Kelty. She was a homemaker and a member of St. Dominic Catholic Church.

She is survived by her husband, Wilburn Kelty; four sons, Mike (Dana), Kenny (Judy), Steve (Kim) and Ray (Lana) Kelty all of Springfield; two daughters, Gayle (Danny) Fenwick and Lisa (Ray) Hamilton all of Springfield; two brothers, Jerry Nalley of New Haven and Junie Nalley of Culvertown; three sisters, Sheila Warner, Brenda Conder and Genny Lovingood all of Bardstown, and 16 grandchildren and 11 great grandchildren also survive.

Funeral mass will be conducted at 10:30 a.m. Wednesday, Sept. 25, 2013 at St. Dominic Catholic Church with Rev. Culpepper Elliott officiating. Burial will be in the church cemetery. Visitation will be from 3-8 p.m. Tuesday and from 7-10 a.m. Wednesday at Hale-Polin-Robinson Funeral Home who is in charge of arrangements. .Published in The Springfield Sun on September 25, 2013
