Violent thunderstorms swept through the Great Smoky Mountains National Park in Tennessee, toppling large trees throughout the popular tourist spot and killing at least two people.

Ralph Frazier, of Buford, GA, was riding his motorcycle when a falling limb struck him in the head, park officials said. Rachael Burkhart, 41, of Corryton, TN, died when a tree fell on her at Abrams Creek Campground.

Mr. Ralph M. Frazier, Jr., age 50, of Buford, GA passed away suddenly Thursday, July 5, 2012.

He was preceded in death by his father, Ralph Frazier, Sr.
He is survived by his son, Alan Frazier, Buford, GA; daughter, Allison Frazier, Buford, GA; mother, Mrs. Faye Frazier, Flowery Branch, GA; sister and brother-in-law, Donna and Randy Pierce, Dawsonville, GA; brothers and sisters-in-law, Bob and Nadia Frazier, Epworth, GA and Bill and Laurie Frazier, Hoschton, GA; girlfriend, Courtney Waycaster Crowe, Flowery Branch, GA; nieces and nephews, Kaylea Frazier, Camille and Shawn Sweeney, Desiree and Levi Walls, Jordan Frazier, Jessica Frazier, Morgan, Frazier and Jade Frazier; nephew, Robert Frazier, Jr.; two great nephews, one great niece; aunt and uncle, Jean and Kenneth Murray, Monroe, GA; and uncle and aunt, Bill and Jo Ella Carter, Oklahoma City, OK.

Ralph was born February 27, 1962 in Decatur, GA. He was a 1980 graduate of North Gwinnett High School in Suwanee, GA. He was co-owner of Frazier Harley Davidson in Buford, GA. He was a lifetime member of Harley Owners Group. He was a member of the AMA Motorcycle Association, AHRMA Group, member of Enduro Racing. He loved mountain bike riding. He enjoyed camping and riding his Harley and spending time with his children, family and friends.

He was generous in giving to the following charities: M.D.A., Hall County Secret Santa, Juvenile Diabetes, Shriner's Hospital and Eagle Ranch. He was a member of the First Baptist Church of Buford and a member of the Tuesday morning Bible Study Group.

Funeral services will be held on Monday, July 9, 2012 at 3:00 p.m. at First Baptist Church of Buford with Rev. Chad Roebuck and Rev. Matt Stacy officiating.

Interment will follow at Memorial Park South Cemetery in Flowery Branch, GA. The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Sunday from 2:00 p.m. until 9:00 p.m. and on Monday from 10:00 a.m. until 2:30 p.m.
