Veronica Elaine Brown Jackson, 63, of Coatesville passed away on July 1, 2012 in the Thomas Jefferson University Hospital in Philadelphia. She was the wife of Allen T. Jackson. Born in Asheville, North Carolina she was the daughter of the late Wade and Kathleen Austin Kyle. She was a 1968 graduate of the S. Horace Scott High School in Coatesville. She had been employed as a School Crossing Guard, Hostess at Mo's Restaurant, Jamesway Department Store, VA Medical Center and Kelsch Associates. She was a faithful member of the First Baptist Church of Coatesville where she served on the Nurses Unit, Day Camp Counselor, special committees and sang on the Imperial Choir. In addition her husband she is survived by her sons, David N. Brown and Pat Miller(Veronica) both of Coatesville and Calvin L. Brown of Parkesburg; daughter, Norma Miller of Coatesville; stepdaughter, Kim Jackson of Delaware; a nephew whom she raised, Larry "Squirmy" Austin of Coatesville; 12 grandchildren, three great-grandchildren; brother, Wade Austin, Jr. (Wanda) of California; in-laws, Mr. and Mrs. William Jackson of Avondale; Goddaughter, Quiletta "Boots" Wilson; devoted girlfiends, Beverly Barnes, Wanda Middleton, Rita Brown, Emily Jackson, Cynthia Crockett and Carol Stanton; and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins other relatives and friends. She was predeceased by a gandchild and a brother. Funeral services will be held at 10 a.m. on Saturday, July 7, from the First Baptist Church of Passtown, 117 Barber Avenue Coatesville.
