MRS. BERVEN DIED TODAY
Mrs. Bertha L.Berven, 80, longtime resident of community, died this morning at the Hamilton County Hospital. She had been in ill health the past six weeks.
Time and place of funeral services will be announced tomorrow. The body will lie in state at the Foster Funeral Home.
Mrs. Berven is survived by two daughters and one son, Mrs. Bernice Johnson, Webster City, Mrs. C.V. (Charlotte) Jacobson of Elkhorn, Wisc. and Homer Berven, Iowa City; three grandchildren; one sister, Mrs. Roy Brandrup, Iroquois, S.D.
Mrs. Berven was a member of Trinity Lutheran Church.

Funeral services for Mrs. Berven L. Berven, 80, were held at 2 p.m. Saturday at the Trinity Lutheran Church with Steve Larson, intern pastor, officiating. Burial was in Graceland Cemetery.
Soloist was Mrs. William Nott, Jr and organist was Mrs. William Steinbruch.
Pallbearers were Boyd Berven, Jess Wing, Cliff Wing,
Clarence Wing, Maris Brandrup and Gail Brandrup.
Mrs. Berven died Thursday at the Hamilton County
Hospital.
