Born to Borleas and Sarah (Howarth) Fielding in Manchester, England. Her parents owned a "Pub" in Manchester around George Leighs Street. We know Sarah Fielding met Joseph Longshaw somewhere along the trail of life. They fell in love, and married October 25, 1846 at St Johns Manchester Parish. They had 2 children Ellen Longshaw Mott 26 May 1847- April 7, 1897 (92957739) and Emma Longshaw (1858-1900) (93074144). We also know that Joseph was a loving man. According to the 1851 Census he was trying to help Sarah not loose the business. He was a beerkeeper. I can only assume he was helping his mother in law.
