Mrs. James House Dead.
Mrs. James House died at 1 o'clock this morning at the home of her daughter, Mrs. O. M. Wilhite. Death followed a sickness of more than three months. Mrs. House, whose maiden name was Miss Sarah Brady, was born in Virginia. The House family moved from Winchester, Va., to Emporia, thirty-five years ago. Mr. House died seven years ago. Besides Mrs. Wilhite, Mrs. House is survived by a daughter, Mrs. O. V. Vernon, of Cleveland, Ohio; a son, William House, of Pensacola, Fla.; a sister, Mrs. H. P. Puffer, of Kansas City; two brothers, Lewis Brady, of Washington, D. C., and Scott Brady, of Pueblo, Colo. She also is survived by two grandchildren, Mrs. Frank Lostutter and Mrs. William Larkin, both of Emporia, and two great-grandchildren. Mrs. House had been a member of the Presbyterian Church all of her life.
Funeral services will be held at the Wilhite home, 56 West Wilman Court, at 9:30 o'clock tomorrow morning, and will be in charge of Rev. W. C. Templeton, of the First Presbyterian Church. Interment will be in Maplewood.
