Obituary - At the age of 70 years, Dr. Willis A. Reeve, a retired dentist and long active in Suffolk's political affairs, died Sunday at his home in Patchogue.

Dr. Reeve was president of the Board of Trustees of the Patchogue Public Library for the past five years. He was president of the Patchogue Chapter, American Red Cross; trustee of the Union Savings Bank at Patchogue, a member of the Sons of the American Revolution and of the South Side Masonic Lodge. A Republican, he served two terms as a member of the State Assembly, from 1902 to 1906. As a young man Dr. Reeve accompanied two expeditions to Labrador, when that section was largely unknown. He had also toured Europe by bicycle. Surviving is the widow, Mrs. Mary Bailey Reeve, and a cousin, Mrs. Walter H. Barnes. Funeral services were held Tuesday afternoon in the Congregational Church of Patchogue. The Rev. Louis H. Johnston, of Kensington, Conn., (former pastor of the church) officiated.
