Hazel Barton Yardley, 94, was reunited with her sweetheart Bill on June 25, 2012 in Beaver,Utah. A day she has longed for nearly 30 years.

Hazel was born November 11, 1917, in Greenville, Utah to George L and Eudora V Higgins Barton; she was the oldest of 5 children. She married William Rowland (Bill) Yardley on November 11, 1935 in Beaver, Utah; their marriage was later solemnized in the St. George Temple.

She grew up and attended elementary school in Greenville, Utah and High School in Beaver. She was very smart and could solve the hardest homework problems for her siblings, kids and grandkids. And could add any six digit numbers in her head.

Bill and Hazel made their home in Beaver, Utah where they raised their family, and ran their family ranch. One would never see Bill working without Hazel by his side working together; they cut hay, changed water, milked, vaccinated and branded cows, and road on the range. Hazel loved to garden, she raised a beautiful garden every year and her yard was immaculate with an array of beautiful roses and flowers. She was a wonderful home maker, and cook she made the best pies and were often a fought over at Thanksgiving dinner. Hazel was a talented seamstress. She loved making her children's clothes. She made Christmas and Easter dresses for her granddaughters, beautiful quilts, and there wasn't a pair of overalls she couldn't mend.

Hazel was an active member in the LDS church and held many callings in her life. She was a devoted and loving daughter, wife, mother, grandmother, sister, aunt, neighbor, and friend. She was respectful, kind, hardworking, faithful, honest, dependable, and considerate.

She is survived by her sons, William Cliff (Nancy) Yardley of Mesa, Arizona, Rowland Barton (Linda) Yardley of Beaver, 13 grandchildren, 55 Great-Grandchildren, 4 great-great grandchildren, and several nieces and nephews.

She is preceded in death by her parents, her husband Bill Yardley, Her daughters Beth Yardley & Eudora Jean Yardley Carter, Her Brothers, Byron & Bruce Barton, sisters, Ila Barton Murdock, Beverly Barton Scott. And Great Grandson, Clayton Tripp.

Funeral Services will be held on Friday, June 29, 2012 at 1:00p.m. At the Beaver 1st ward 50 North 100 East Beaver, Utah. A viewing will be held prior to services from 11:00 a.m. to 1:00p.m. At the church. Interment will be in the Mountain View Cemetery.
