Death of Mrs. Annie Hines.
Mrs. Annie Hines died yesterday at 12:30 a.m., at the family home, 171 E. Union street, after being very ill for four weeks with Bright's disease. She was the wife of the late William Hines, whose death occurred here on August 7, 1913. Mrs. Hines was born in Baltimore October 3.1, 1851, it being an unusual coincidence that her death occurred just thirty minutes after the end of her sixty-third natal day. She was a woman of fine character, extremely loyal to her Christian faith. Her unusual kindness won her high esteem from a host of friends who now mourn her demise. Mrs. Hines was the mother of seven sons and six daughters, of whom survive six daughters and five sons: Misses Katie, Ida and Marie Hines, Mrs. Oscar Huber, of this place, Mrs. Owen Brady and Mrs. Charles K, Smith, of Cumberland; Messrs. John, William, Martin, Frank and Harry Hines. The following brothers and sisters are also bereaved: Miss Margaret Condry, Mrs. J. S. Brophy, Martin Condry, superintendent of the Piedmont and Georges Coal Co and William Condry of Eckhart. The funeral will take place tomorrow morning at 9 o'clock from St. Michael's Church, Interment will be made in the family lot, St. Michael's cemetery. Miss Margaret Condry, a sister of Mrs. Hines, who resides at the Hines' residence, is also prostrate with illness; her condition being so alarming it was feared to apprise her of her sister's death.
