Carrie Mae Hawkenberry, 83, 402 Tracy Lane, St. Clairsville, formerly of Belmont, died Wed., Nov. 20, 1996 in Barnesville Hospital. She was born Feb. 18, 1913 at Jacobsburg, daughter of the late William and Leona Stidd Passmore.
She was a member of Belmont United Methodist Church.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Charles; one brother, Clarence Passmore; and a sister, Bessie Davis.
Surviving are two sons, Donald of Belmont and William of Richmond; six grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren.
Friends were received Friday at the Kelly-Kemp Funeral Home, Bethesda, where services were held Saturday with Rev. Bob Merritt officiating. Burial followed in Belmont Cemetery.
