Her father was shown to be a day laborer.

In 1880, Angeline Wicks, aged 34, was living in Brookhaven, NY, with her husband, John E. Wicks, aged 37, and children, Ella A. Wicks, aged 8, and Lilly B. Wicks, aged 4. Her husband was shown to be a farm hand.

In 1900, Angeline Wicks, aged 50, was living in Brookhaven, NY, with her husband, John A. Wicks, aged 53, and children, Ella A. Wicks, aged 25, and Lillie B. Wicks, aged 22. Living with them was boarder, Theodore Barnes, aged 53. Her husband was shown to be a farmer.
