Services will be at 2 p.m. Friday at Parker Mortuary for Lester Earl Crites, 82, 174 Evelyn, who died Wednesday in a Topeka hospital after a short illness.
He was born Sept. 21, 1890, near Meriden, and had lived in Topeka since 1935, moving here from Meriden.

Mr. Crites was a farmer in Meriden and a construction worker in Topeka.
His wife, Mrs. Nora Crites, died in September, 1970.
Survivors include two daughters, Mrs. Lena Tousley, 610 Sanford Lane, and Mrs. Geraldine Richard, 1234 Long; a brother, William A. Crites, 2075 Fillmore; two grandsons and three great-grandchildren.

Burial will be in Mount Hope Cemetery.
