TAHOKA — Services for Billy Wayne Craig, 71, of Tahoka will be at 2 p.m. today at First Baptist Church in Tahoka with the Rev. Jerry Becknal officiating.

Burial will be in Grassland Cemetery under the direction of White Funeral Home of Tahoka.

He died Tuesday, Sept. 17, 2002.

He was born April 27, 1931, in Lynn County. He graduated from Post High School in 1948 and was a lifelong resident of Lynn County. He married Margie Roberts on Jan. 23, 1954, in Grassland. He was an artist and sculptor and served on the Tahoka museum board.

He also was a retired firefighter for the Tahoka Volunteer Fire Department. He was a Baptist and served in the Army.

Survivors include his wife; a son, Randy Wayne of Mobile, Ala.; a daughter, Sherry Kay Martin of Tahoka; two brothers, Robert of Post and William Charles of Waco; three sisters, Barbara Ann Hawkins of Austin, Pearl Herman of Lubbock and Odessa Gurley of Alamogordo, N.M.; six grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren.
