Was a waitress, worked at GM, was a daycare provider for many years, and had plenty of grand children. She loved to go camping, gamble, and she could talk to pretty much anyone she came across.∼"Gramo" Inez Roberts Lansing Age 79, passed away on June 22, 2012. Gramo Inez was born in Jacksonville, Florida on March 16, 1933, then moved to Lansing, Michigan in the 1950's. She devoted her life to the care and raising of children, both her own and those she was blessed to provide in-home childcare services to for many, many years. Known as everybody's grandma, she enjoyed doll collecting, quilting, dancing, pop music, and most of all, time with her family. She is preceded in death by her husband, J.C. "Jack" Roberts; her parents, Jesse and Mertyl Smith; her children, Conni Filion and James Filion Jr.; and five siblings. She is survived by her daughters, Cheryl (Jim) Casale, Rhonda (Roger) Tully and Jodi (John) Groth; her sons, Gordon (Teresa) Filion and Scott (Susan) Filion; two siblings; nine grandchildren; and one great-grandchild. Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Monday, June 25, 2012 at Chapel in the Pines Funeral Home in Lansing, MI.
