CHATSWORTH - The Funeral Of Ben F. Saathoff, 80, of Chatsworth will be at 10:30 a.m. Monday at St. Paul's Lutheran Church, Chatsworth, the Rev. Richard Hertenstein officiating.
Burial will be in the Chatsworth Cemetery.
Visitation will be from 4 to 7 p.m. today at Culkin-Diggle Funeral Home, Chatsworth, and an hour before the service Monday at the church.
Mr. Saathoff died at 3 p.m. Friday (Sept. 21, 1990) at his home.
He was born July 15, 1910, in Charlotte Township, a son of Frank and Gertie Haase Saathoff. He married Josephine Durkes May 29, 1933, at Franklin Grove. She died Feb. 28, 1978.
Survivors include a son, Stephen Saathoff, Dixon; a brother, John, Cullom; two sisters, Marie Flessner, Cullom; and Annetta Galloway, Chatsworth; and two grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by three brothers and one sister.
Mr. Saathoff was a member of St. Paul's Lutheran Church and had served on the church council. He farmed for 45 years in the Chatsworth area before retiring in 1979.
Memorials may be made to St. Paul's Lutheran Church.
