Mrs. Hatch Services at Cardston
CARDSTON (HNS) – Funeral services will be held Saturday for Mrs. Mary [sic] Hatch, 70, who died here Tuesday following a lengthy illness.
Services will be conducted at 2 p.m. in the LDS Alberta Stake Chapel with Bishop Robert Low of the Second Ward in charge. Interment will be in the Cardston cemetery with the Christensen Funeral Home in charge of arrangements.
Mrs. Hatch, a native of Cardston, was the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. J. A. Woolf, well-known Cardston pioneers. She was educated in Cardston and lived in Salt Lake City, Utah, for a short time after she finished school.
In 1916 she married Thomas Hatch and they ranched in the Beazer, Stavely and Lethbridge districts. For the past 30 years they farmed east of Cardston.
She is survived by her husband, Thomas; two daughters, Mrs. B. Y. (Mary) Williams of Cardston, and Mrs. Sherman (Henrietta) Young of Salt Lake City; three sons, Thomas of Winnipeg, Stuart of Lethbridge and David of Cardston; three brothers, Dr. Wilfred [sic] Woolf, Simpson Woolf and Milton Woolf, all of Salt Lake City; two sisters, Eva Woolf of Salt Lake City and Mrs. Ethel Balls of Hyde Park, Utah. Also surviving are 28 grandchildren.
