Jessie D. (J. D. ) Mosley, age 82, Brookfield, passed away at Life Care Center of Brookfield.
Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m. Saturday, June 30, 2012 at the Assembly of God Church, Brookfield, with Reverand Mike Myers, officiating. Burial with Military Honors will be in Parklawn Memorial Cemetery, Brookfield. Visitation will begin at 3:00 p.m. Friday June 29, 2012 at the church with family receiving friends from 6:00 p.m.-8:00 p.m. Memorials have been suggested to the Brookfield Senior Center and may be sent to the Rhoades Funeral Home, 216 Linn Street , Brookfield, Mo. 668.
J D was born on December 7, 1929 at Laclede, son of Leslie E and Lillian S Dell Mosley. On August 8, 1948 he was married to Doris Lewis. He was a Deacon at the Assembly of God Church, Brookfield, and past president of the Brookfield Senior Center.
J D is survived by his wife, Doris of the home, children, Greg Lewis, Kansas City, Mo, Garry Mosley, Lawson, Mo; Pam amd Jeff Littrell, Brookfield, daughter in law, Brenda Mosley, Exceslior Springs, Mo; grandchildren, Jamie Dawn Lewis, Gregory Scott Lewis, Amy Diane Lewis Gawlik, Anthony Dale Smith, Joshua Dale Mosley, Jennifer Potter, Tonya Lady, Jason and Daniel Litrell; twelve great grandchildren, and four great great grandchildren, two sisters, Betty and husband Jake Ross, and Jean Walsh, Brookfield, one brother Butch and his wife Sara Mosley, Brookfield, two brothers in law, Ronnie and Pat Lewis, Altus, Oklahoma, and Bill and wife Sarah Lewis, Milan, Mo, mother in law, Doris Lewis, Brookfield, and several nephewes and other relatives.
He was preceded in death by his parents; three sons, Ronnie Dean, Terry and David Mosley; brothers, Hubert and Dean Mosley and a sister Patsy Mosley, and a brother in law, Leo Walsh.
