GOLIAD—The funeral of William Snyder Sr., 79, rancher who died Tuesday in a hospital here after a short illness, will be Friday at 3 p.m. at Roy Thomas Funeral Chapel. Snyder had lived here 22 years. He came here from Aransas Pass, where he had lived the previous 40 years, and had been a wholesale dealer for Humble Oil. He was also in the automobile business and real estate there. He had been a member of Masonic Lodge 1018 at Aransas Pass for 50 years, and his lodge will conduct the service. Burial is to be in Cuero Cemetery. Survivors are his wife; a son, William Snyder Jr. of Goliad; two sisters, Mrs. Louise Earl of San Antonio and Mrs. Pete Byars of San Francisco, Calif., and two grandchildren.
