He was born to Everett and Letha (Lane) Adams in Knowles, OK.

He served as a First Lieutenant in the Korean War.

He worked at the Oklahoma Department of Transportation for 35 years, retiring as assistant director of land acquisition.

He continued to work for Coates Field Services for 7 years.

He was preceded in death by his parents and brothers, Gene and Don.

He is survived by his wife of 61 years, Grovaline; sisters-in-law, Dena and Gwen; children, Laurie (Robert) Locke, Mindy (Don) Prince, Tom (Caryn) Adams and Tim (Margaret Ann) Adams; eight grandchildren, and four great-grandchildren.

The family would like to thank the staff at Mercy Hospital for their care and support.

Family visitation will be Friday, 6-8pm at Mercer-Adams.
