Charles Vachel Craft was the subject of a recent biography:

Charley Craft: The Life and Times of a North Carolinian Turned Oklahoma Homesteader 1872-1934 by Neal G. Lineback, Parkway Publishers, 2005.

Although not Quaker himself, under the influence of his wife who was, he pioneered an experimental new community in Gate, Oklahoma, where he volunteered much labor for the construction of the Quaker Meeting House and Academy there.
