Mr. E. R. Biddinger, 86, of 4907 Shady Wood Drive, Jefferson, died Tuesday, Oct. 6, at Frederick Memorial Hospital. He was the husband of Mildred E. Hildebrand Biddinger.

Born Aug. 26, 1895, in Walkersville, he was a son of the late David B. and Jenny Eaves Biddinger.

Mr. Biddinger was a well known farmer in the Liberty district for many years. After retirement from farming in 1963, he was employed as a custodian at Linganore High School until his retirement i n 1975.

Surviving, besides his wife, are four sons, Ray F. Biddinger of Baltimore, Wilbur M. Biddinger of Unin Bridge, Ear D. (Tootie) Biddinger of Mount Airy, and Donald E. Biddinger of Frederick; two daughters, Mrs. Janet Louise Fogle, Frederick, and Mrs. Barbara (Bobbi) Schell, Jefferson; a brother, Grayson Biddinger, Frederick; two sisters, Mrs. Bertha Zimmerman, Frederick, and Mrs. Marguerite Stambaugh, Florida; nine grandchildren and 13 great-grandchildren.

Friends may call from 6-9 p.m. Wednesday, Oct. 7 and 10 a.m. - 9 p.m. Thursday, Oct 8, at the Stauffer Funeral Home, Motter Avenue Extended, Frederick. The family will receive friends at the funeral home from 7-9 p.m. Wednesday and Thursday.

Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. Friday, Oct. 9, from the funeral home chapel. The Rev. William B. Rounsley, Central United Methodist Church, will officiate. Interment will be in Resthaven Memorial Gardens, Frederick.
